The Swedish Association for Sexology organises health professionals who are active within the field of sexology. The purpose of the association is to promote scientific exchange and practical co-operation within the field of sexology and to work for the development and application of sexological knowledge.

The association is a member organisation of the following:

The Nordic Association for Clinical Sexology (NACS)

The World Association for Sexology (WAS)

The European Federation of Sexology (EFS).
